Best Theme Park Hotel

Animal Kingdom Lodge- Walt Disney World

This is hands down the winner. It's the most peaceful and beautiful plus you have a savanna in your back yard full of giraffes, zebras, antelope and more! This hotel however is not pet friendly so only Service Animals are allowed. That being said the Disney cast members are incredible and always treat us with respect and kindness.

Best Beach Hotel

Costa de'Este- Vero Beach, Florida

This lovely hotel has incredible amenities and sits right on the ocean! Your daily beach chairs and umbrellas are included in your stay and you can even have snacks and drinks delivered from the bar directly from your spot on the sand! The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. This is also a pet friendly hotel that features a large area for walking and even treats for your fur baby!

Best Hotel Off the Grid

Getaway House- East Catskills, New York

Now I don't know if this qualifies as a "hotel" it's probably under the camping or "glamping" category but we had to mention it because our stay there was so good! These are tiny house cabins in the woods that feature giant windows for looking at the scenery, in your house bathrooms hot showers, cooking stoves and outdoor campfire pits. These are pet friendly and perfect for a relaxing, off the grid getaway.

Fort Wilderness Campsites and Cabins - Walt Disney World

This place is gigantic and has all the amenities you would need for a camping trip! From campsites where you can pitch your own tent to hook ups for RVs to private cabins, Fort Wilderness has it all! Also the have a huge Dog Run for both small and large breed dogs so your fur baby will have tons of space to run around and play!

There's also pools, tennis courts, archery, movie nights, two outposts where you can shop for supplies like food and beverages plus a large selection of other merchandise and textiles. They also boast two on site restaurants where you can sit down to a hot meal.

Best Hotel For Free Food

Drury Hotels- Disney Springs, Orlando, Florida

I'm mentioning the Disney Springs location because that's our favorite but this chain in general goes above and beyond when it comes to the food offerings included in your stay. There's an incredible all you care to enjoy hot breakfast buffet daily that includes waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, literally so many that it's hard to choose!

Additionally there's popcorn and soft drinks offered  daily during the afternoon as well as a nightly "kickback" which is a hot hor d'oeuvres offering with a selection of adult beverages included for guests 21 years and up.

And did i mention Drury Hotels are pet friendly? Yep! Also very reasonably priced for those on a budget especially when you factor in all  the money you save by not having to pay for a few meals.

Best Hotel Dog Walk Area

Sapphire Falls- Universal Orlando Resort

This pet friendly hotel features the largest pet walk we have ever seen! It is probably the size of a football field and features wide open spaces for you and your pup to get their daily exercise while taking care of business. Multiple locations for bags and trash cans are also available making clean up super easy just in case you find yourself without supplies.
